All Things Velvet

I’ve had a love affair with velvet for as long as I can remember. Winter is by no means my favorite season, but the prospect of wearing velvet head to toe makes it infinitely more appealing to me. Although I always mix several different velvet pieces into my wardrobe during the winter months, one of my favorite things to do each year is pick out a few new velvet outfits to wear on Christmas.

This year, I’m wearing my new favorite bodysuit from Express, with these fun green culottes that I found at T.J.Maxx. With every passing year, there’s always something else that inspires me, whether it’s a beautiful emerald green dress, or a two-piece outfit in all black – I love that velvet is not only timeless, but such a fun, versatile fabric to style.
